The number of corona cases in Germany reported to the RKI was 755 yesterday.

In the previous week comparison, there is a minus of 40 percent. This is the 34th consecutive week-on-week decline.

But: On Sunday, 15 of the 16 federal states did not report a single corona case to the RKI.

The only exception is NRW.

This has never happened since the pandemic began.

The 7-day incidence continues to fall, from 196 to 189.

It has thus reached its lowest level since November 6, 2021.

The incidence is falling in all 16 federal states. After Thuringia and Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt is the third federal state whose incidence falls below the 100 threshold.

The number of cases is also tending to decrease in all age groups.

In the age group 60, the number of registered cases in the past week was 36 percent lower than a week earlier.

In the age group 0-14 the minus was even 43 percent.

538 corona deaths were reported to the RKI in the past calendar week.

The number of deaths reached a 32-week low. Fewer deaths were last reported at the end of October.
