Since March, voter confidence in Daniel Günther (CDU), Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein, has increased the most. According to the current RTL/ntv trend barometer from the opinion research institute Forsa from May, the CDU politician recorded the strongest increase in trust with 58 points (plus 13 points). He is followed by Green politician Robert Habeck (56 points) and Annalena Baerbock (53 points).

The winner of the North Rhine-Westphalian state election, Hendrik Wüst (CDU), follows in fourth place with 50 trust points, just ahead of Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) with 49 points. At the bottom of the ranking in May 2022 are Janine Wissler (Linke), Tino Chrupalla and Alice Weidel (both AfD) with values ​​under 20 points.

At party level, the CDU/CSU and the Greens each gain one percentage point, while the SPD loses one percentage point. The Union climbs to 28 percent, while the Greens, currently at 23 percent, are overtaking the SPD (21 percent). The FDP loses a point and is currently at seven percent, the AfD at nine percent and the left remains at four percent. The other parties are at eight percent.

Compared to the previous ranking in March 2022, 13 of the 19 political actors included in March have lost trust – above all Karl Lauterbach (minus five points) as well as Olaf Scholz, Markus Söder, Lars Klingbeil, Wolfgang Kubicki, Marco Buschmann, Dietmar Bartsch and Janine Wissler (each minus four points). Only four political actors have gained trust compared to March 2022: Daniel Günther (plus 13 points), Robert Habeck (plus seven points), Hendrik Wüst (plus five points) and Annalena Baerbock (plus two points).

In the politician ranking, Forsa regularly determines which politicians the citizens see as “in good hands”. Respondents can rate their assessment with values ​​from 0 (“is not in good hands at all”) to 100 (“is completely in good hands”).
