the Krasnoyarsk businessman Anatoly Bykov arrest extended to 3 October. The corresponding decision was made by the district court.
Bykov was detained on 7 may. The businessman and eks-the Deputy of legislative Assembly of Krasnoyarsk region is accused of organizing contract killings, Cyril Voitenko and Aleksander Naumov. Evidence on the businessman gave another member of the crime — Vladimir Tatarenkov.
According to investigators, in July 1994, two gunmen shot the car in which there were Vojtenko and Naumov. The first killer was sentenced to life imprisonment, the second is still wanted. Tatarenkov received 13 years in prison.
Initially, the court made the decision to leave Anatoly Bykov in custody until 4 July. Now the measure of restraint in form of arrest was extended until October 3, according to RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Anatoly Bykov addressed to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin from jail. The defendant wrote a letter in which he said that he always faithfully served the nation.
