After the Parade, the President laid flowers to the Eternal flame

After the Victory Parade on Wednesday, Vladimir Putin laid a wreath at the Eternal flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to honour the memory of victims of the great Patriotic war.

the President of Russia was accompanied by high-ranking guests from abroad – the leaders of Abkhazia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia.

after the passage of the troops, Putin spoke with veterans and thanked the commanders who took part in the parade. Live broadcast led the TV channel “Russia 1”.

the parade was attended by 14 thousand people and 234 units of historical, modern and future military equipment. Air part of the parade amounted to 75 aircraft, including flight of the fifth generation fighter, the su-57. Parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory lasted one hour and 15 minutes.

Celebrations in the red square was moved from may 9 to June 24 this year due to restrictive measures in connection with the pandemic coronavirus COVID-19.
