the Ministry of health of Russia held a regular meeting of the organizing Committee of the all-Russia forum “nation Health – a basis of prosperity of Russia”.
11 – 13 August 2020 in Moscow at the exhibition complex “Gostiny Dvor” will pass a forum of which the main theme will be to protect and promote the health of the population of Russia in the conditions of new challenges.
Pandemic coronavirus has become a test of strength not only health systems, but also the entire system of state administration, the state of civil society. On the forum it is planned to sum up the first results of the work, to formulate priorities, and to prepare proposals for the adjustment programs of national projects taking into account new challenges.

Special attention will be paid to vaccination and promote healthy lifestyles.
Minister of health Michael Murashko noted the importance of discussion this year on the forum vaccination programmes in the reduction of mortality from cardiovascular disease, promote healthy lifestyles, especially temperance and anti-Smoking propaganda, and also involvement of population in physical culture and sports.
“It’s those areas that will give us a quick effect on the return of the normal indicators of life expectancy and the attainment of those objectives set out in the national goals to increase life expectancy,” — said Mikhail Murashko.
In turn, the President of the League of nation’s health, academician Leo Bokeria said that, despite the pandemic coronavirus, it is important not to forget about the other patients and treat them. Because people die from cardiovascular disease and from cancer and from other diseases. Also Leo Bokeria suggested to try andharnessed to the forum for constructive discussion of the obtained experience for further development of all directions of health protection of Russian citizens.
