According to a report in the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the number of neo-Nazis who are wanted on arrest warrants in Germany has risen significantly.

Ten years ago, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), there were 266 people, but as of September 30, 2021, the BKA counted 596 right-wing extremists in hiding. That’s an increase of more than double.

There are particularly many such cases in Bavaria. 128 right-wing extremists were last searched for there. There were 98 cases in North Rhine-Westphalia, 56 in Berlin, 47 in Saxony, 42 in Thuringia, 30 in Lower Saxony and 21 in Hesse.
