a Ban on flights to Russia from abroad has been extended to 1 August. The decision adopted by the Federal air transport Agency.

“Until 23:59 local time July 31, 2020, the temporary restriction on entry into Russia of foreign citizens and individuals without citizenship”, – reports TASS with reference to your telegram of the Agency.

Previously, the decision to ban the entry of foreigners was adopted by the Russian government, the ban period was set from March 18 to may 1.

Earlier, the Minister of transport of the Russian Federation Evgenie Dietrich said that “still alive” the hope for the restoration of international flights in July.

Later, however, he said that the opening of international traffic will depend on the epidemiological situation, so to name the date for the resumption of international flights prematurely.

Regular and Charter flights with other countries, Russia has completely stopped on March 27. This decision was taken because of the threat of the spread of coronavirus. An exception was made for export, humanitarian, cargo and mail flights.
