Belarusian refineries are not getting Russian oil from January 1

Belneftekhim company on Friday confirmed a stop of deliveries of Russian oil to Belarusian refineries.

Plants in Belarus are not getting oil from the first of January of this year. They are forced to operate at last year’s stocks of raw materials with minimum technological level. Belneftekhim is actively seeking other sources of oil besides Russia.

On the remains of Belarusian oil refineries in Novopolotsk and Mozyr will be able to hold out until around January 20.

As earlier reported, Belarus on New year’s eve are unable to agree with Russian oil companies about the conditions of oil supplies from January 1, 2020.
