Tuitt, an eight-year veteran, took to societal networking on Friday to affirm that the death of his younger brother, Richard Bartlett III.
“You’re in paradise living stress free. I miss you so so much bro,” Tuitt composed in an Instagram post. “We adore you and watch you one day. Thank you for your calls and prayers ”
Capt. Todd Hood together with all the Johns Creek Police Department told FOX5 Atlanta who Bartlett was serving his girlfriend protected a mattress they had been hauling at about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday when he was hit by an oncoming automobile.
“After he procured it he moved back into the driver’s side of this doorway to talk with the motorist. At the stage a car coming from the back swerved slightly, hitting the rear of the car, hitting the pedestrian and murdering him,” Hood told the channel.
“The automobile flipped about on the roadway and return into the scene. I am guessing that the driver saw that which he or she’d struck and fled the scene to Gwinnett County,”
The victim’s girlfriend and mom told police the car was a dark four-door sedan, maybe a BMW.
The Steelers shared Tutti’s message on Twitter, including:”So sorry for the loss. We’re thinking of you and your loved ones.”
“We do not understand the reason why they fled the scene now,” Hood added. “We do not understand what the fees could have been if they’d ceased, but since they did not discontinue they [are confronting ] a felony hit and run and a vehicular homicide.”
Tuitt, 28, was drafted by the Steelers in the next round of their 2014 draft.
