At the age of 91 became the first Minister of health of Russia, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Soviet and Russian scientist-haematologist Andrei Vorobyov. This was told on his page on Facebook the son of the deceased Paul. The cause of death is not explained.

According to a close relative, the sparrows died on Monday, June 15, at 12:30. The son said his father saved a huge number of people.

Information about the death was confirmed by the General Director of SMRC Hematology Ministry of health of Russia Valery Savchenko. He drew attention to the fact that sparrows is his teacher, brilliant doctor, who has a very difficult path, and created the Institute in the form in which it exists now, reports TASS. Savchenko noted that Andrey is an outstanding and very unusual people.

Andrei Vorobyov, he studied at the 1st Moscow medical Institute. From 1953 to 1956 he worked as a doctor in the Volokolamsk district hospital. In 1966, Vorobyov was appointed head of the clinical Department of the Biophysics Institute of the USSR Ministry of health. In 1987, Andrey Ivanovich was elected academician of the Academy of medical Sciences of the Soviet Union, in the same year he became Director of the Institute of Hematology and blood transfusion. From 1991 to 1992, Vorobiev was the Minister of health of the RSFSR.
