Russian President Vladimir Putin on 30 June turned to the Russians, urging everyone in the country to come to the polls and participate in voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Putin recalled that the proposed amendments will enter into force only if it gets support from the Russians.
“We vote not just for the amendment, couched in explicit legal norms. We vote for the country in which you want to live,” — said the President of Russia.
