the program includes masterpieces of European sacred music of different centuries and styles. There are Russian works: opened the festival “Christmas oratorio” by Metropolitan Hilarion.
“I can’t identify, as the product of a single style, but of course, most importantly, what influenced it — it’s a tradition of Church music. And the “Christmas oratorio” is an attempt to transfer the atmosphere of the temple, the atmosphere of Christmas at the concert hall,” said the Metropolitan.
