FIFA may change the rules of football. Can be amended in the definition of “offside”.
Under current rules, the offensive player is offside if, at the time of the pass it lies, in whole or in part of the body, closer to the goal line than the second last opponent, including the goalkeeper. It is proposed to assume a position “outside the game” when the whole body of the player is closer to goal than the defender.
the reform has not only supporters but also opponents, who believe that innovation will provide an advantage to attacking team that upset the balance. FIFA will consider all the arguments “for” and “against”, and then will decide whether to make changes to the rules.
