Five regions expect to the remote electronic vote in the nationwide voting on amendments to the Constitution. Centrizbirkom received applications from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod region, and Krasnoyarsk region and Republic of Karelia.

Vladimir Putin proposed to amend the Constitution in the Federal Assembly in January.
