In Russia there were two billionaires: the founding of an IT-company Veeam Software, Ratmir Timashev and Andrei Barons become billionaires after the sale of the company’s U.S. Fund Insight Partners.
according to the magazine Forbes, the transaction amount of five billion dollars. Expected to close during the first quarter; after that, Veeam will be the American company with headquarters in the USA (now the headquarters is in Switzerland), and the Barons and Timashev, which 2017 were included in the list of richest Russians (though they were not even billionaires), will leave the Board of Directors.
Veeam was founded in 2006; the company develops solutions for backup and data management in the cloud, according to RIA Novosti.
