Governor: the residents of the SEZ in the Kuban region will receive tax benefits

Businesses that will become residents of special economic zones in the Kuban region will receive tax benefits, in particular income tax, property tax, land and transport taxes. According to the head of the region, these companies will be able to save on fees and to minimize their costs.

“In fact, it will be the territory with special legal status and favorable economic conditions for entrepreneurs. While the planned three zones in Krymsk, Temryuk and Novorossiysk. The choice is due to objective factors,” said STRC “Kuban” the head of the region Veniamin Kondratiev.

He explained that in Novorossiysk, for example, is Russia’s largest commercial sea port. The volumes will continue to grow, will build new specialized terminals. Ultimately, this may create preconditions for the appearance here of export-oriented and import-substituting industries with high added value. Temryuk district is one of the most promising growth points of regional economy. In the future the turnover of the object being created in the port area will reach 70 million tons. Key importers are countries of the Mediterranean basin, – the Governor added.

There is already planned the construction of 9 companies with a total production capacity of 12.5 million tons per year. This will allow you to create one of the nation’s largest port areas.

In a press-service of administration of Krasnodar region, added that the convenient location of the Crimean district can become a hub transport-logistics center of the southern Federal district. Its power and area can be used as a “dry port” for the transshipment and temporary storage of goods, including the Novorossiysk transport hub. The application for the establishment of zones will be submitted to the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation.
