Flossenbürg – A 79-year-old pedestrian has been captured on a street in the upper Palatinate by a car and fatally injured. According to police, the man wanted to cross the state road between raft and Flossenbürg (in the district of Neustadt on the Waldnaab), in order to reach his wife, who was waiting for a common walk to the parked car. The Senior said that on Sunday afternoon, two cars drive past, and then came suddenly to the roadway.

A 64-year-old car driver was unable to avoid a collision. The pedestrian was thrown through the air, and remained seriously injured on the road. First responders provided immediate First aid until the ambulance service arrived. The man died still at the accident site.
