On the servers of Huawei will start to use a Linux distribution developed in Russia. The installation of “importonezavisimy” operating system “RED OS” on the TaiShan server 200 provides the agreement signed between Huawei and the company “RED SOFT”.

“RED OS” is registered in the Unified register of the Russian computer programs and databases of the Ministry (No. 3751). System based on Linux is being introduced in Russian government bodies and state corporations.
According to representatives of “RED Soft”, a joint solution with Huawei will arouse interest among organizations with very different profiles: the TaiShan server 200 suitable for processing large volumes of data and cloud computing, distributed storage, enterprise and Internet services.
“Cooperation with the international company of such level”, added “RED Soft”, will allow to increase competitiveness and to develop new competencies. Huawei also said that they are interested in expanding partnerships with “RED Soft” in the creation of a joint software and hardware solutions.
