As a teenager, Thomas Tuchel was enthusiastic about the Bremen spectacle football. He was reminiscent of many great European Cup evenings in the Weser Stadium. “It was always a spectacle when the floodlights went on there. That was incredibly attractive. For many years, Bremen were the team in the Bundesliga after Gladbach that fought with Bayern for the championship. Even later with Thomas Schaaf as a trainer.”
