In Kommunarka found coins of the Golden Horde

In New Moscow archeologists have discovered over a thousand household items of the XIV-XIX centuries, including coins of the Golden Horde.

Findings were made on the banks of the river a Small Pine in the village of Kommunarka, the website of the Moscow mayor. Experts have been found a bronze trim on clothing that could belong to the native of the Golden Horde, as well as pieces of jewelry, a horse harness, or crosses.

the Most valuable are the two coins of white metal, minted in the Golden Horde in the late XIV — early XV centuries. Rather, it is dirhams.

Such discoveries are very important for studying the history of the city, they illustrate the relationship between Muscovy and the Golden Horde. All found will be restored and will give in the capital’s archaeological Museum.
