In Moscow, for 2.2 million rubles sold a letter of Joseph Brodsky

Moscow on the auction sold the letter of the Russian-American poet, Nobel prize laureate Joseph Brodsky. The final price of the lot amounted to 2.2 million rubles. It is reported by the auction house “Russian enamel”.

a Letter Brodsky became a hit trading. It was written by the poet in 1967 and addressed to Tatiana Rumyantseva. Not explained exactly who became its owner.

On the sheet are Brodsky’s drawings, where, apparently, he depicted himself and the addressee. In the letter, in addition to fine art, there is a sonnet dedicated to Tatyana Rumyantseva.

the auction house said that the auction started with a mark in 800 thousand rubles.
