Plan to demolish not only the structure itself, but also adjacent buildings, as they do not correspond to modern standards and fire regulations. Images of destroyed buildings appeared in the social network, reports GTRK “Kuban”.
JSC “Kaskad” was exhibited at the auctions of the Russian auction house in 2017. In 2018, it was bought with a land area of 0.8 hectares. The new land owner plans to build on this 9-storey hotel, a SPA center and a public space with fountains, arches and the amphitheatre.

In addition, it is planned to organize the area in memory of a poet Joseph Brodsky, who visited “Cascade” and even mentioned it in his poem.
