Last year the program helped to equip paramedics 7 rural physicians and 3 hospitals. In addition, the medical institutions settled 25 physicians. New experts appeared in Shimanovsk, the Raichihinsk, Tynda, Seryshevo, October, Skovorodino and Magdagachinsky areas.
Since 2012, when launched the program “Zemsky doctor” in the villages and small towns went to work almost 380 physicians. The expert must work in the establishment for 5 years. But many of the participants in the project remained in place and after the deadline. Meanwhile, the shortage of medical personnel is maintained. Now in the Amur province there is a shortage of cardiologists, anesthesiologists and emergency physicians.
