In the British Cathedral there was a picture of black Jesus Christ

On the altar of Saint Albany Cathedral (British County of Hertfordshire) there was a picture of the last supper black Jesus Christ. Such a creation posted in solidarity with the movement Black Lives Matter.

the Picture was painted by artist Lorna may Wadsworth in 2009. She sketched of Christ with a black resident of Jamaica, reports the Daily Mail.

the Abbot of Saint Albany Cathedral quickly agreed to accommodate the picture. According to him, they turned the Altar banished to a place of reflection and prayer.

Artist creating such a work, decided to challenge the Western myth that Jesus Christ looked like a white European. Picture copies the famous fresco by Leonardo da Vinci.
