In the Leningrad region, farm products are tested for the presence of antibiotics. First and foremost meat, milk and eggs — must be free of prohibited additives. The whole procedure takes no more than three hours. This allows the new digital analyzer which determines the presence of drugs in animal products.

the New analyzer is tested in Priozersk district, reports GTRK “Saint-Petersburg”. In the coming year, the district veterinarians are planning to explore 1.5 thousand samples of milk, meat and eggs. For farmers, the testing procedure will be free, and will not affect the cost of production.

Note that the presence of antibiotics in farm products is not always a consequence of the treatment of animals. drugs reveal the unscrupulous manufacturers of animal feed.
