In the context of pandemic coronavirus COVID-19 number of registered crimes in may decreased by 5.6 percent compared to the same period of 2019. About it told the official representative of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Irina the Wolf.
the Number of murders and attempted murders decreased by 2 percent, the facts of deliberate causing of heavy harm to health on 8,9, robberies — by 13.4, robberies, and 24.4%, reports TASS. The number of domestic crimes has decreased by as much as 12 percent. In the latter sphere most strongly marked decline of the recorded facts of deliberate causing heavy, average weight and a little harm to health — 19.9, 15.9 and 8.9 percent, respectively.
At the same time in Russia this year dramatically — 85 percent — increased the number of cybercrimes. The number of crimes committed by means of plastic cards has increased six-fold.
