Russian Daria Kasatkina started with a victory in the Women’s tennis Association tournament, held in Auckland new Zealand. The representative of Russia was stronger than Spaniard Carla Suarez-Navarro in three sets with a score 6:3, 3:6, 6:2.
In the next round, Kasatkina will meet with the winner of the match between the representative of the USA Amanda Anisimova and Ukrainian Kateryna Kozlova.
Prize Fund of the competition exceeds 270 thousand dollars. The tournament in Auckland will conclude on January 12.
