Lavrov summed up the results of the Berlin conference on Libya

the Truce in Libya was generally respected, said the acting Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov at the international conference on Libya ended in Berlin.

He reminded that the ceasefire in the country on the initiative of Russia and Turkey entered into force on January 12, nevertheless, the situation remains difficult, some violations occur.

Speaking on the outcome of the Berlin conference, Lavrov noted that they contained provisions on sustainable cease-fire.

According to him, the document is divided into chapters. It has a section about the political process, about how to solve the economic problems of Libya. In this regard, Lavrov stressed that all parties to the conflict, all religious, ethnic, political groups must have access to natural resources. In addition, the outcome document contains a section dedicated to solving humanitarian problems.

the Head of the Russian foreign Ministry also said that the new military Committee for the settlement of the Libyan conflict to achieve stable peace in the country under UN auspices.

Lavrov said that the Berlin conference lasted about five hours. He added that participants believe the conference was very useful.
