More than twenty of the Sochi beaches have been awarded this year’s “Blue flag”. It is an international environmental certificate, which is awarded to only the places corresponding to accepted international environmental standards. It also assesses the improvement and availability of infrastructure.
As reported “Vesti Sochi”, the TV channel “Russia 1”, the ceremony took place on the beach “Riviera”. The event was attended by representatives of the government and the lessees of the beaches. This is the first business event in the newly opened holiday season.
At the beaches was a lot of preparatory work. Because the vacation spots along the Black sea this year are especially high requirements. The comfort level must not only meet the needs of tourists, but also to meet the requirements of the CPS. By the way, “Vesti Sochi” already told about the large-scale reconstruction, which is held at “Riviera”. Here is a new promenade, an amphitheater for vacationers, updated stairs to the sea, the restored sculpture “the Swimmers”. Now on the beach proudly flies the blue flag.
