Rafael Nadal has won the French Open for the 14th time. The Spanish clay-court king defeated the Norwegian Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in a one-sided final in Paris on Sunday. With his 22nd triumph in a Grand Slam tournament, Nadal extended the record in men’s tennis. After 2:18 hours, the 36-year-old converted his second match point. In the semifinals against Alexander Zverev, Nadal was challenged even more until the German Olympic champion had to give up injured towards the end of the second set.
