“Naftogaz” and “Gazprom” to the end of the month report of the Stockholm arbitration on the settlement and mutual withdrawal of lawsuits, said in a statement issued by the press service of the Ukrainian company.

Earlier it was reported that after five days of negotiations, Russia and Ukraine signed a package of documents ensuring the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine on 1 January. “Gazprom” and “Naftogaz” have signed the agreement on the organisation of transportation of gas through Ukraine, the organizing company of transit will be “Naftogaz”. “Naftogaz” and “Operator GTS of Ukraine”, in turn, entered into a transport agreement, “Gazprom” and “Operator of the Ukrainian GTS” — inter-operator agreement.

According to the document, “Naftogaz” will reserve the capacity to transport 65 billion cubic meters of gas in 2020 and 40 billion cubic meters in the years 2021-2024.

1 January, the head “of the Operator GTS of Ukraine” Sergey Makogon said that the first night of the company’s work went as planned, worked out all the nominations for performance of the contract on transit.
