Chairman of the Board “Naftogaz” Andrew KOBOLEV told what the company expects to spend $ 2.9 billion derived from Russian “Gazprom”. According to him, the amount will not be used without discussion with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Andriy KOBOLEV said that Naftogaz has no plans to direct the money to repay the debts of the company. According to him, it would be appropriate to use funding for projects with additional economic value, including energy efficiency, mining, infrastructure.

Previously, “Naftogaz” received from “Gazprom” for USD 2.9 billion. This decision was made by the Stockholm arbitration. This allowed to resolve the issue of transit of Russian gas through Ukraine.
