According to the latest data of the CEC of Russia, after processing of 99,01% of protocols, the adoption of the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation voted 78,03 percent of Russians, the loss of 21.16 percent against. The turnout was 65 percent.
CEC Head Ella Pamfilova said that serious violations during voting are not recorded, according to RIA Novosti.
a nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation was scheduled for April 22. Because of the epidemic coronavirus infection it was delayed. Later, the President signed a decree on a new date for voting on 1 July. To ensure security at the polling stations in connection with the unfavorable epidemiological situation the decision was made about the possibility of voting from 25 June to 1 July.
