Vladimir Putin drew attention to the fact that the new constitutional provision, if adopted, will set much higher demands on the effectiveness and content of all social, economic policies of the country, the task of improving the quality of life and well-being of people. The President urged to take this into account in their work colleagues in the government and heads of authorities at all levels.
Earlier, the head of the CEC of Russia, Ella Pamfilova said that the compulsion to vote on the amendments to the Constitution will be severely suppressed.
