Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated people’s artist of Russia, actress of the Moscow academic theatre of satire Natalia Seleznev with the 75th anniversary.
In the telegram published on the Kremlin website, says Natalia Seleznev has played many diverse, but always interesting roles in films and on the stage of the famous Theater of Satire. “The admirers of Your talent I appreciate and love You for your sincerity and charm, for loyalty to the profession to which he dedicated his life”, — said the head of state.
Also with the anniversary, the actress was congratulated by the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin. He noted that Seleznev captivates the audience with skill and emotion on the stage and in film. “Starring in short episodes – a unique talent, the art of transformation, depth, and sincerity that makes the audience happy and sad along with Your touching and charming heroines,” the telegram reads. –
Natalya Selezneva was born on 19 June 1945 in Moscow to a musical family. Her father was a photographer and her mother an artist. In six years, Natalia went to the stage theater of the Soviet Army. In cinema, she started acting in childhood. Her first role in the film “Alyosha Ptitsyn produces character” and “Girl and crocodile”.
As a student of the Shchukin theatre school, Natalia starred in comedies by Leonid Gaidai “Operation “y” and other adventures Shurik”. Then there were two other films of Gaidai, which brought her popularity – “Ivan Vasilyevich changes a profession” and “can’t be!”.
