Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill on his name day. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church has devoted itself to high pastoral, spiritual and educational mission and for many years faithfully and selflessly serve the ROC, the people and the country, said the head of state.
He also said the constant concern of the Patriarch of approval in society, unshakable spiritual-moral values and family values and his contribution to the strengthening of centuries-old historical, cultural and Patriotic traditions of Russia.
With his name day of Patriarch Kirill also congratulated the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. He said: the Patriarch is doing a lot to maintain civil peace and harmony in the society, preservation of spiritual and moral values and the education of youth, and also makes a great contribution to the development of interreligious dialogue and helps the Orthodox abroad.
Congratulated the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. In his congratulatory telegram to the Belarusian leader expressed the belief that the spiritual wisdom and wealth of pastoral experience of the Patriarch will continue to serve the strengthening of friendship between the fraternal peoples of Belarus and Russia.
