Representatives of Abramovich denied the reports about the purchase of the painting

Representatives of billionaire Roman Abramovich denied media reports that the businessman had allegedly bought the most famous painting in Norwegian impressionist Edvard Munch’s “the Scream”.

“This is untrue”, — said the press service of the investment company Millhouse.

Earlier media with reference to Sotheby’s auction house says the painting “the Scream” was sold at auction for 120 million dollars (the starting price was 50 million dollars). The previous owner of this masterpiece was an American financier, art collector Leon black.
