Russian aircraft are advised not to fly over Iraq and Iran

the Russian airlines recommended not to use the airspace over Iran and Iraq. The corresponding message was distributed by Sony. The recommendation also applies to the space above the Persian and Oman gulfs.

according to “Russia 24”, the recommendation was issued “in connection with information about the risks to the safety of international civil aviation operations” in the region. It will operate “until further notice”.

on the Morning of 8 January it was reported about the crash of the Ukrainian aircraft Boeing 737 near Tehran. Ship “Ukraine International airlines”, according to preliminary data, crashed under fire engine.

All on Board were 167 passengers and 9 crew members of the plane died. Most of the passengers are citizens of Iran. Just from Tehran to Kiev on this flight were mostly nationals of seven countries.

Earlier in the night of 7 to 8 January, was attacked by American military bases in Iraq. One of the rockets fired at those objects fell near the international airport Erbil. Responsibility for the airstrikes took on Iran – it became a response to the killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani during the US RAID last week.
