Big banks refuse to grant loans stores – the so-called POS loans (POS — Point Of Sale). Over the past three years almost all the banks passed with these loans on credit cards.
In 2019, only three banks out of top thirty continued to engage in POS-loans: Mail the Bank “home credit” and Bank “Tinkoff”.
Credit cards have a number of advantages: cashback, bonuses, discounts from partners, reminds TASS. At the same time, banks may use the fact that not all clients fully understand the purchase conditions and work cards, demand from the consumers pay high interest rates and commissions.
POS-lending is less risky: in 2019 the overdue payments according to the classic loans was 4.2 percent, whereas on credit cards – 9.4%.
