Russian hockey players reached the semi-finals of the world youth championship

In the quarterfinals of the women’s youth world championship on hockey Russian national team defeated the national team of Sweden, scoring four unanswered goals– 4:0 (2:0, 0:0, 2:0).

In the Russian team goals were scored by Kristina glukhareva (7 minutes), Veronica Korzhakov (19), Christy Shashkin (41) and Vita Poniatowska. Note that Shashkin, in addition to the goals, he scored two assists.

Thus, the team advanced to the semifinals of the tournament, where on Wednesday, January 1, will play with American girls. Second place in the final of the tournament will compete for the national teams of Canada and Finland.
