the fleet of school buses has delivered 14 vehicles. Four at the end of 2019 already commissioned academic institutions. And now another 10 schools became owners of the new buses to transport children. Modern vehicles of educational institutions from different parts of the Smolensk region, including the Shatalovo orphanage.
In the regional center hosted a ceremony of handing over keys of vehicles to educational institutions. They were presented by Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy. A number of schools these avtobusy will increase the number of available routes, and others – to replace the legacy transport to a new one.
“We will replace them to ensure the safety of transportation of children. After all, that’s the main thing,” he told GTRK “Smolensk”, the Governor of Smolensk region Alexei Ostrovsky.
Buses are designed on 11, 17 and 22 seats and equipped with all the necessary equipment: speed limiters, flashing lights, call buttons of a driver and other vehicles that provide safety of operation. And for a number of educational institutions the school bus was the first.
“It is extremely necessary for the implementation of busing children from far away villages that are far away from our school. This is the first bus, we are very pleased with today’s acquisition,” says Director Baranovskaya school district Safonovo Artem Horses.
