COVID-19 continues to affect the schedule of sports competitions. The authorities of the Chelyabinsk region took the decision to cancel the games of the BRICS countries in the South Ural capital. It is reported STRC “South Ural” with reference to the press service of the Governor.
Recall that initially the tournament was to be held in Chelyabinsk from 20 to 28 June. Due to the tense epidemiological situation, it was moved to 12 – September 20. However, under the new initiative, which has already been sent to the Ministry of sports, the competition will be cancelled. The reason for such measures was the fact that the contest was supposed to arrive about 600 athletes, about 70 delegates and 100 judges, but due to the spread of coronavirus infection in these countries, their arrival is not possible.
Note that a difficult situation is still in the Chelyabinsk region. Participants experience a number of difficulties when training and scheduling. However, after the lifting of restrictions in the region invited to take other sports activities.
