the cause of the fire at the refinery OOO “LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka” in the Republic Komi has been a technological explosion. It is reported TASS citing a source in the emergency services.
“the Fire was preceded by two cotton technological nature,” – the Agency interlocutor.
In a press-service of administration of Ukhta, told journalists that sounded claps and the ensuing fire are local in nature: threat to the local people there.
“No smoke, emissions from the factory and there is no glow. The wind blows in the opposite direction from the city,” – said the administration.
the Incident at the refinery occurred at 16:45 local time on 9 January. First explosion, then fired up the installation for processing diesel fuel. The fire area was about 1000 square meters. Extinguishing attracted 78 people and 18 pieces of equipment. Also the scene directed fire train.
According to preliminary data, in the result of incident one person was injured. Rescuers began to evacuate staff and visitors from the nearby shopping center.
