Makogon said that was also worked out all the nominations on the implementation of the new agreement on transit.
“We proved that we can work on the new European rules,” he wrote.
Earlier it was reported that after five days of negotiations, Russia and Ukraine signed a package of documents ensuring the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine on 1 January. “Gazprom” and” Naftogaz” have signed the agreement on the organisation of transportation of gas through Ukraine, the organizing company of transit will be “Naftogaz”. “Naftogaz” and “Operator GTS of Ukraine”, in turn, entered into a transport agreement, “Gazprom” and “Operator of the Ukrainian GTS” — inter-operator agreement.
20 Dec Russia and Ukraine signed a Protocol on gas cooperation. According to the document, “Naftogaz” will reserve the capacity to transport 65 billion cubic meters of gas in 2020 and 40 billion cubic meters in the years 2021-2024.
