the Ukrainian Government on Saturday instructed the Minister of justice Denis Malyshku to sign a settlement agreement with the Russian company “Gazprom”. The parties agreed to withdraw their mutual claims in the European arbitration, writes TASS.
As earlier reported, Russia’s energy Minister Alexander Novak, the procedure of signing the agreement is scheduled for December 29. In the end, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine will waive any claim to “Gazprom” for the sum about $ 7 billion.
last week, “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and “Gazprom” have managed to agree on a contract for pumping gas through Ukrainian territory. It is expected that in 2020 Russia exports to Europe through gas-transport networks of Ukraine 65 billion cubic meters of gas.
