As stated Goncharuk in a video posted on the social network Facebook, the company “International airlines of Ukraine” took a decision on compensation to the families of crew members killed in the plane crash in Tehran. The family of each deceased will receive an insurance payment that is required under the Montreal Convention. Also, the Ukrainian government will additionally allocate to each affected family for 200 thousand UAH (8.3 thousand USD).
