“the Russian team take in these youth Olympic games as any other team participating in the competitions, — says Bach, quoted by RIA Novosti. – On doping cases and manipulation of the data of the Moscow laboratory a final decision has not been made yet, and until that changes, the Russians have the same rights and obligations as the other athletes. This is particularly correct when we are talking about the young generation”.
Recall that at the moment the case of a possible suspension of Russia from participation in international competitions considering the court of arbitration for Sport. After the verdict, his word concerning the participation of the Russians in the Olympics in Tokyo will take the IOC.
Youth Games will be held from 9 to 22 January in the Swiss city of Lausanne.
