the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation is preparing a bill allowing the sale of alcohol near medical institutions. About this media said the representative of the press service of the Ministry.

As noted, the bill was developed on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova. It provides for the transfer to the constituent entities of authority to independently determine the types of medical activities, the implementation of which does not prevent the retail sale of alcoholic beverages.

it is Expected that the bill will be submitted for consideration to the government in the third quarter of this year, after which it will be considered by Parliament.

Under current law, the sale of alcohol adjacent to medical institutions in the territories is forbidden, reminds RIA Novosti.

on 5 may of the current year in the Russian Federation entered into force a law that prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages in public catering facilities in apartment houses and adjacent territories, if their service rooms occupy an area less than 20 square meters (the so-called law about “Nalivaiko”).

Local authorities have the right to impose additional restrictions (including a complete ban work “Nalivaiko”).
