In an exclusive interview to TV channel “Russia 24” the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin said that because of the situation with coronavirus the capital budget this year will receive less in taxes by 500 billion rubles and will not expend the previously planned 250 billion.
“It will be new expenses that we did not expect,” — said Sergey Sobyanin. He said that the money will go to support the businesses, citizens, and to fight Kovalam.
Therefore, said the capital’s mayor, the difference between what is planned, the Moscow authorities, and those that succeed will amount to 750 billion rubles.
