Alexander Dementyev, the Minister of transport of the Altai territory announced:
– a project of the bypass of Barnaul large and capital-intensive, costs are estimated at 49.7 billion, so without obtaining the targeted funds, we will not proceed to its implementation. The project has already received a positive conclusion of state examination, it is at the Analytical center under the Government of the Russian Federation, waiting for the conclusion. Our goal is that the project was included in the main development plan of transport infrastructure. We are now reservation land, so we were all ready. In the case of a positive decision we will either pass this draft in the Federal property that the feds built it, or give us the tools and we will start to build a bypass of Barnaul.
As informs GTRK “Altai”, the new road should relieve Barnaul from transit traffic, especially from trucks. For the first time about the project began in 80-x years, and since 2013, the regional authorities are negotiating with the Federal government for funding. 50 billion rubles required for the construction is almost half the provincial budget, according to radio “Vesti FM” in Barnaul.
